XS, Inc wins Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award for the state of North Carolina
The state-level Psychologically Healthy Workplace Award (PHWA) is sponsored by state, provincial and territorial psychological associations with support from the American Psychological Association.
The award is presented to organizations that demonstrate a commitment to programs and policies that foster employee health and well-being while enhancing organizational performance.
Awards may be given to large, medium and small for-profit companies, not-for-profit organizations, and government, military and educational institutions.
The award is based on the organization's workplace practices in the following five areas:
XS, Inc. is the 2008 winner of the award for North Carolina (small company category). XS will now be eligible to compete for the national award in March 2009.
